4URPC X6 Review: A Wireless Portable Monitor for Work on the Move

Research-based campaign review · Sources checked September 28, 2026 · Not a hands-on review

The short answer: A portable monitor can make a temporary desk feel familiar. The X6 asks whether cutting a few cables makes that setup easier enough to justify another battery-powered screen.

What is 4URPC offering?

A portable monitor can make a temporary desk feel familiar. The X6 asks whether cutting a few cables makes that setup easier enough to justify another battery-powered screen.

What does the campaign list?

Detail What the campaign says
Display 15.6-inch Full HD IPS touchscreen, according to the campaign
Connections Wireless casting, USB-C video and HDMI are listed
Battery Creator FAQ estimates 4–5 hours at full power; light use may reach 9–10 hours
Delivery The FAQ contains conflicting November and December 2026 estimates; verify the live campaign

Wireless is convenient, but a cable remains the fallback

The creator says compatible iPhones, Android 10+ devices, Macs and most Windows laptops can mirror without a home Wi-Fi network or app. Campaign FAQ notes that DRM-protected services such as Netflix, Hulu, Max and Disney+ may require wired USB-C. Wireless latency and reliability remain unverified.

The battery claim needs context

The FAQ’s 4–5 hour estimate at full power and 9–10 hour light-use estimate are creator figures. Brightness, volume, wireless use and connected devices affect runtime. Plan to carry a charger if the display will be used for a full workday.

BackerGlow’s take

The most persuasive use case is a second screen that moves between a home desk, a shared office and occasional travel. But this is not automatically simpler than a USB-C portable monitor: wireless mirroring adds another point where pairing, latency, image quality or protected video can interrupt the job. We would treat wireless as a bonus until a real demonstration shows the same device reconnecting reliably after sleep and across the computers and phones we own. Before paying for touch and battery features, compare the X6’s total cost with a wired portable display plus the cable you already carry. If the cable is rarely a burden, the simpler setup may be the better purchase.

Price, delivery and what to verify

Reward price and stock can change. The FAQ lists a one-year quality guarantee but includes both November and December shipment windows. Before backing, confirm your device’s video output, the exact reward, destination shipping, and the latest delivery estimate.

What should you ask before backing?

  1. Ask for an unedited reconnect test after the monitor and source device have both slept.
  2. Confirm touch input works on your exact operating system and connection mode.
  3. Check whether the chosen reward includes the required cables, charger and stand.
  4. Use the shorter creator-listed battery estimate when deciding whether a charger is still needed.

Frequently asked questions

Can I stream video wirelessly?

The creator says protected streaming services may be blocked by DRM over wireless mirroring; use a wired connection for those services.

Does every USB-C port work?

No. For wired video, the source device needs compatible USB-C video output or HDMI. Check the current compatibility list.

Our verdict: who should consider it?

We would shortlist the X6 for someone who regularly presents from several devices and can test their exact connection path. We would wait if a reliable all-day display or low-latency work is essential. The advertised battery range spans very different usage conditions, so plan around the shorter full-power estimate and verify the current reward and shipment window.

What crowdfunding risks remain?

Crowdfunding is not ordinary retail checkout. The finished monitor, wireless performance, battery life and final delivery date have not been independently tested by BackerGlow. Review the current reward, shipping, taxes, warranty and creator updates before pledging.

Creator statements reflect campaign materials checked on September 28, 2026; reward availability and delivery estimates may change. Kickstarter connects creators with backers, and rewards are not guaranteed. Read the current project page and updates before deciding.
